How likely are you as a music lover and social media junkie to learn about new artists or old ones you just never heard of? Leave comments of Likely or unlikely and why.
I have been looking for a way to get into new music for a while with little success. It seems to me that recomendation engines like l last.fm and pandora just don't hit the spot. I have much better success with low tech methods like picking up musinc from movies of from my friends' music collections. The best high tech tool is for me is Shazam, a very accurate iPhone app that identifies music by "listening" it. Anyway, I could go on in this topic for ever ... good one.
hey man thanks for the feedback. I know Pandora and Last.fm are what many people use but I haven't heard of Shazam. I have an iphone as well so Ill look it up. See if Im on there the only search engine Im not listed with is Pandora those bastards!
With Myspace being a mess of social networking and far too many artists fighting and spamming for users attention, I wonder how people get around that shit without giving up complete;y.
